Just like younger dogs, older dogs benefit from a food tailored to their specific needs. Not only are their energy requirements lower, but they require controlled levels of vitamins and minerals. Therefore, BETA Senior contains 16% less fat than BETA Adult varieties, and carefully balanced nutrients: lower salt levels to keep the circulatory system healthy, and less phosphorous to help the kidneys. BETA Senior is also specially formulated to maintain a healthy immune system, and can be soaked for dogs with sensitive mouths, if necessary. Its dual shaped kibbles, specifically designed for Senior dogs, aid chewing for improved digestion, especially in dogs with dental problems as a result of ageing.
