Pet Smile Month & Veterinary Practice
September 2009 is Pet Smile Month.
The aim of Pet Smile Month is to increase awareness of the importance of dental disease and the deleterious effects it has on our patients' health. With 80% of the Nation's pets needing dental treatment it is a scandal that so many pets are left suffering. Actively targeting them - both for treatment and prevention - is the only way forward.
Taking part in Pet Smile Month is easy. Your practice will shortly be receiving an invitation to join the 2009 Campaign - a signed application form is required. Please make sure that you send the form back promptly - there will be no second mailing!
Participating Practices will receive supplies of Goody Bags to give away to clients when they have their FREE Pet Smile Dental Health Check. These bags will contain samples of Pedigree® DentaStix™ or Whiskas® DentaBits™, together with information leaflets and other offers from our sponsors.
