Pet Smile Month & Veterinary Practice
The concept of Pet Smile Month has always been to try and draw together a number of companies who all produce products which have been shown to produce health benefits. Rather than having a single product dominating the whole event PSM believes in working together with many companies.
Imitation, is of course highly flattering. However the commitment of some to the VETERINARY profession, indeed their knowledge of that profession could be questioned when VETERINARY practices receive the following message:

Pet Smile Month has always been based in the Veterinary Profession, run BY the Veterinary Profession - with the aim of improving the dental health of OUR patients.
We will shortly be emailing practices a short questionnaire - asking for your views as Veterinary Professionals on the exciting plans we have for 2012. Meanwhile you are very welcome to use any of the resources of Pet Smile Month in your practices.
We look forward to working with you and with the Veterinary Profession for the years to come.

Bacterial Burden
It makes sense to rinse even the ‘simple’ dental procedures with Chlorhexidine solution or CLS. This benefits both your staff and the patients.
